Ducktrap Writers’ Round Table

The Ducktrap Writers’ Round Table was launched on October 19, 2008 as a 2 hour, drop-in class at the Camden Public Library. It was a place for my clients and other writers to find their writing voices through original prompts I created, to learn about the elements of writing, to share their work and to learn artistic camaraderie in a supportive environment. It has met on and off over the years.

A new Memoir client proposed I offer a weekly drop-in class for 2 hours on Sunday afternoons, as a place for writers who work during the week. Ironically, that is when Ducktrap Writers’ always met.

In the spirit of generations of writers who have historically gathered around tables to practice and hone their craft, and to meet the needs of people with busy schedules, I have decided to re-launch Ducktrap Writers’ Round Table.

We will once again meet on Sundays from 2 pm to 4 pm, beginning Sunday, August 7th 2016. Fee is $15.

We will gather in a private Camden/Rockport setting. Please email to RSVP, or for details and directions.
